Presidential board of the university, which is composed of the president and vice presidents, is one of the most important components of the university and has the following responsibilities:
1-Paving the way for the execution of the acts passed by the higher council of Cultural Revolution and the procedures and circulars issued by the ministry of Science, Research, and Technology.
2-Helping the university and its dependent sections become self-sufficient.
3-Proposing sabbatical leaves and short term local and foreign educational and research period for the ministry to be allocated to the scientific staff.
4-Suggesting administrative, financial, transactional procedures, annual budget, organizational chart, necessary administrative reforms for running the inner affairs of the university.
5-Proposing some necessary plans to be put on the agenda for discussion in the board of trustees.
