The President's duties and jurisdiction:
1- Determining the executive policy of the university within the framework of research, educational, and scientific policies, and supervising their successful execution.
2- Guiding educational, cultural, research, student, administrative, financial, disciplinary affairs as well as local and international relations.
3- Creating harmony among different sections of the university.
4- Pursuing possible violations of law, and reporting them to the relevant authorities.
5- Functioning within the regulations as the representative of the university in legal situations .
6- Putting forward the proposal for establishing some sections, developing them, breaking up or merging them with others.
7- Cooperating scientifically with other local and foreign educational or research institutions.
8- Being responsible for administrative and financial affairs of the university within the approved regulations.
9- Appointing or dismissing any member of the presidential board, deans of the faculties, managers of dependent units, heads of departments, and executing acts, procedures, circulars issued from the respective ministry.
Duties of Secretary of the President's Office
1 - Carrying out the president’s administrative and clerical affairs regarding local and international relations.
2 - Receiving letters from different sections of the university and notifying all correspondences, orders, and opinions of the president to university sections and organizations outside the university.
3 - Maintaining harmony in public visits of the president with clients.
4 - Harmonizing current affairs of the president’s office.
5 - Planning daily and annual agenda of the president.
6 - Creating necessary harmony with vice presidents and subset units.
7 - Planning and holding sessions, summits such as the meeting of presidential board, university council, etc.8 - Planning and maintaining harmony for the president to visit different sections of the university as well as health networks of other cities
9 - Sending letters and providing answer for the received letters.
10 - Scheduling appointments with the president for the visitors.
11 - Pursuing, guiding, and removing the administrative problems of clients.
